What are Chakras?
There are 7 major Chakra centres of the physical body, where vital energy flows and intersects. Through our Chakras, we transmit and receive physical, emotional, and spiritual energy. It is ideal to have all chakra centres clear, balanced, and vitalized for optimal well-being. Each chakra is associated with a particular area of the body and a color of the spectrum.
Stones & Chakras
Stones are used at chakra centres for clearing, revitalizing, and healing. Generally, the selection of stones corresponds with the associated color of the chakra. Tumbled stones can be placed directly on the area that corresponds to the chakra you are working on.
Stone Cleansing
Each new stone should be cleansed before you use it. Mostly all stones can be cleaned by a little soapy water which will remove dust and fingerprints. Water will also cleanse your stones of energy imbalances. Another way to clean is to hold the stones in cold running water and then dry them naturally. Visualizing the flow of water drawing away all imbalances as you cleanse can speed up the process. An hour or more of sunlight will charge most crystals.
